Contemplate the universe !
Bilāl (may Allah be pleased with him) once went to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) to notify him of the Fajr prayer, and he found him lying down and weeping. He said:“O Messenger of Allah, why are you weeping whereas Allah forgave your past an d future sins?”
He (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Woe to you, Bilāl ! Why should I not weep
while Allah has revealed this to me tonight:{Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth and the alternation of the night and day are sign s for people of understanding.}
[Surat Ᾱ l ‘Imrān: 190]
”He recited the verses to the end of the Surah.Then, he (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Woe to anyone who recites them and does not contemplate them!”
[Narrated by Ib n Hibbān; Sahīh (authentic)]
The view of the heavens and what they contain -stars, planets, the sun, and the moon -and the earth and what it contains - the mountains, rivers, seas, animals, plants, inanimate objects, and living and dead beings -point to the Originator of the heavens and the earth.
{Blessed is He Who placed in the sky constellations, and placed therein a radiant lamp and a luminous moon.It is He Who made the night and the day to follow each other so that everyone who wishes may reflect or become grateful.}
[Surat al - Furqān: 61 - 62]
In a conference of the Muslim Youth, held in Riyadh in 1979, USP rofessor Palmer stood up when he heard the verse that says:
{Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and earth were joined together and then We split them apart ?...}
[Surat al - Anbiyā’: 30]
He remarked: “Yes, indeed, the universe was in its beginning amassive contiguous cloud of smoke and gas, and thereafter gradually transformed into millions and millions of stars filling the sky. This, by no means, can be attributed to a man who died 1400 years ago, for he did not possess telescopes or spacecrafts to help him discover these facts. So, the one who informed Muhammad of this must have been Allah.” Professor Palmer, then, declared his conversion to Islam at the end of the conference.
In the 8th medical conference held in Riyadh, 1404 AH, Professor Tejatat Tejasen, the head of Anatomy and Embryology section, Mai University, Thailand, stood up and said:“Since Prophet Muhammad could not read or write, then he must have been a messenger who brought this fact. This was given to him through revelation from a creator who knows everything. This creator must be Allah.
{Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth and the alternation of the night and day are signs for people o f understanding.} ”

Therefore, I think it is high time to say: ‘I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.’”
